Decisions, Decisions...

At the moment, we have zero privacy from our neighbors...  we are in desperate need of drapes for the sliding glass door in our living room.  West Elm, my favorite, has new inventory on drapes...  I need YOUR opinions [because Michael could care less]

Our Living & Dining Room...

I can't say it enough...  we finally have furniture!!!  There was no point to purchase furniture when we first bought the condo because we knew we would be painting, taking off the base molding, cleaning, etc.  We waited almost a full month and I must say, camping chairs are not very comfortable.

Here's a look down memory lane for us...  haha.  I will keep the camping chairs a distant memory, trust me.  Hope you enjoy the look of the furniture as much as we do.  It fits perfectly in our living/dining room...  it is so comfortable, practical and stylish.  I LOVE it.

One more thing...  I was hesitant to put the fish tank in the living room.  I wanted to hide it in the 2nd bedroom.  I must say it looks absolutely beautiful in the main living space. Mike was right and I am so thankful we put it where everyone can enjoy it.

Metal Folding Chair Anyone???

Some of you had the pleasure of seeing our original tv stand below...  I personally think it's gorgeous...NOT!  Mike and I finally purchased a new tv stand.  The only problem was brining it upstairs.  I CERTAINLY wasn't capable of lifting it so thankfully a nice neighbor helped us.

The stand is our last piece of BIG furniture.  We're getting there slowly but surely!  Seeing the condo put together is great...  seeing the walls covered with fresh paint makes me smile... the new furniture is awesome...  no more drop cloth/plastic on the floors is the best...   decorating with cute accessories will be AMAZING, I can't wait.

Vanity Affair...

Original Sink
Mike Moving the Original Sink

My Dad & Mike Plumbing

Almost Time for the New Sink

TaaDaa!  Our New Vanity & Mirror.

Now I have plenty of room for all of my stuff!  The other sink is very cute but not very functional.  We needed more room for our toiletries...  ok, we needed more room for MY stuff.

We purchased the vanity at Lowes and thanks to my cousin who works for Lowes we got a pretty sweet discount.

We decided to move the original sink to the 2nd bathroom.  The 2nd bathroom didn't have a sink at all!  So we did a quick swap and the other sink fits perfectly in the guest bathroom.

Just an fyi...  Mike is a really good plumber and I have that saltwater fish tank to thank for that.  Who would have thought that a fish tank would qualify for great plumbing experience.  :)
